THE FUELING PLAN consists of 2 phases. Phase 1 is 21 days, Phase 2 is a lifestyle. THE FUELING PLAN has worked for Tim Michaels for over 25 years and he has never needed to change it. He uses it with all his clients, and now he wants to share it with you. It takes some work and discipline, but the rewards are worth it all. You can lose the weight you want to, keep it off, and feel better about yourself if you stick to the plan. Then move into Phase 2 as your new lifestyle for food and nutrition. It really works!

Tim Michaels' FUELING PLAN Phase 1 is designed to eliminate excess water weight along with some body fat. It's 21 days of specific food intake with snacks between if needed. The plan will dramatically lower your cholesterol, while giving you a toned physique and tighter skin. It also cleans out your taste buds, which are polluted by the inorganic chemical compound called salt. HOW MUCH WEIGHT WILL I LOSE IN 21 DAYS?

It all depends on how much you are carrying. You will lose mostly water weight, along with some body fat (if you let yourself experience the hunger pains). Those who have faithfully completed the 21-day Phase 1 have dropped between 8 and 21 pounds. The average is about 15. You will also lower your cholesterol by up to 100 points or more. The important thing is to stay faithful and don't cheat.

HOW WILL I FEEL ON THIS PLAN?

You will be amazed at your energy and appetite first thing in the morning. Your energy level will stay even throughout the day. But yes, you will have cravings and you will have hunger pains, especially before lunch and before bed. Just remember, the hunger pains mean you are burning fat! The hardest thing will be avoid eating late, and to stay away from the things you are used to, like caffeine, desserts, etc. Don't give in to the urge - hang in there and you'll see results.

WHAT IF I CHEAT?

If you mess up, don't give up! Just get yourself back on track and you will still see results.

SHOULD I TRAIN WITH WEIGHTS WHILE ON PHASE 1?

The goal of Phase 1 is not muscle gain, but establishing balanced body chemistry. However, it would be fine to do some light training. Try doing 1 set of two or three exercises five days a week. If you'd like to, try 10-12 minutes of cardio per day.

I'M READY TO TRY THIS. WHAT WILL I NEED TO DO PHASE 1 FOR 21 DAYS?

The brochure is included with DVD 1: ABDOMINALS and also the FUELING PLAN DVD. To do Phase 1, you will need to make a trip to the grocery store, and possibly to the health food store. Stock up on unprocessed chicken breasts, organic spinach leaves, cherry tomatoes, and baby carrots. Get some oatmeal (plain) and frozen blueberries. Look for fructose, dried fruit, and the vitamin C drink Emer'gen-C at your local health food store. You will also need potatoes, rice, and if you like fish, get orange roughy, tilapia, perch, or whitefish (not salmon, at least not for phase 1). In additional you will need distilled water, balsamic vinegar for your salad, and "Mrs. Dash" no-salt seasoning. Get enough for about one week's worth at a time, prepare it ahead of time as specified in the FUELING PLAN PHASE 1 brochure. Make sure that whatever you buy contains no salt or refined sugar.

THE MENU SAYS "ONE CHICKEN BREAST." DOES THAT MEAN ONE WHOLE BREAST (BOTH SIDES) OR HALF OF THE BREAST (ONE SIDE)?

It seems nobody really knows for sure about the chicken breast thing. It seems to be an ongoing debate as to what is "one" and what is "half"! But Tim considers "one" as being one side of the two in a breast - not both sides.

DO I HAVE TO USE BLUEBERRIES IN THE OATMEAL? CAN I SUBSTITUTE OTHER FRUITS?

The blueberries carry powerful antioxidants which help get rid of poisons and toxins in your system. You can substitute but you will lose this benefit.

CAN I USE DIFFERENT VEGETABLES IN MY SALAD?

It is important to use spinach, carrots, and tomatoes because they contain the B complex vitamins in balance. But you can add other vegetables to those, if you wish. Try adding cucumber, onions, radishes, and bell peppers.

WHAT DO I DO AFTER PHASE 1?

You will learn much about your body during the three weeks of Phase 1. You will learn the effect and impact of the right foods eaten in the right quantities at the right time. You will realize how much salt you normally ingest, and you will break many of your "bad" old habits. So after Phase 1, it's time for Phase 2.
